THE FRONT PAGE LEAD STORY IN LE FIGARO IS THAT OSAMA BIN LADEN

WAS IN AN AMERICAN HOSPITAL IN DUBAI, in July 31, and had

contacts with the CIA. The story, also featured on Radio France

Internationale and other radio news, is as follows:

Kicker: "Gravely ill, enemy number one stayed in an American

hospital in the [United Arab] Emirates at the beginning of the

Banner headline: "July 2001:Bin Laden meets the CIA in Dubai"

煇煇Suffering from a kidney disorder, Osama Bin Laden stayed at

the American hospital in Dubai, from July 4-14, where he

reportedly met an official of the CIA, according to a witness, a

professional partner of the administrative management of the

hospital."

煇煇Coming from the airport in Quetta, Pakistan, the man who

since the Sept. 11 attacks has become public enemy number one,

was immediately transfered on arrival at the Dubai airport. He

was accompanied by his personal physician and loyal lietenant,

who could be the Egyptian Ayman al-Zawahari, four bodyguards, aas

well as an Algerian nurse.

煇煇Already in March 2000, the weekly {Asia Week}, published in

HongKong, was concerned about Bin Laden's health, talking about

of a serious physical problem, specifiying that his days were in

danger, due to a 'kidney infection which is spreading to the

liver, and requires special treatment.' According to authorized

sources, Bin Laden had himself delivered in the first half of

2000, a mobile dialysis machine in his hideout in Kandahar.

煇煇His trip to Dubai was not the first, according to our

cources. Between 1996 and 1998, osmama Bin Laden had gone there

several times for business. During his hospitalization in July,

he received the visit of the local representative of the CIA.

This person was recalled to Washington on July 15, the day after

Bin Laden's departure for Quetta.

煇煇Fifteen days later, the UAE customs officials arrested a

Franco-Algerian Islamist activist, at the Dubai airport, named

Djamel Beghal. The Frencha nd American authorities were alerted.

Interroagted at Abu Dhabi, Beghal said that he had been convoked

to Afghanistan at the end of 2000, by Abu Zoubeida -- a military

official of the Bin Laden organization, Al Qaida. beghal's

mission: to blow up the American embassy in Paris.

煇煇According to Arab diplomatic sources, and French

intelligence services, very predice inforamtion was communicated

to the CIA, regarding terrorist attacks against American

interests in the world. A report of the DST of Sept. 7, collected

this information, specifiying that the order to act would come

from Afghanistan.

煇煇In August, at the US Embassy in Paris, an emergency meeting

was convened with the DGSE and the most senior officials of the

American intelligence services. Extremely disturbed, the latter

present their French counterparts with demands for very precise

information concerning the Algerian activists, without however

explaining the general sense of their demand. When asked, 'what

do you fear in the coming days?', the Americans responded with an

煇煇Paris, Oct. 31 (AFP)- Osama bin Laden was treated in July at

the American hospital in Dubai, where he is said to have met an

official of the CIA, the French daily Le Figaro and Radio France

International (RFI) report today.

煇煇The two media organs, citing "a witness who is a

professional partner of the administration of the hospital,"

report that the man who the United States suspects ordered the

attacks of Sept. 11 arrived in Dubai on July 4 in a plane from

Quetta, Pakistan.

煇煇He was immediately transferred to the hospital for a kidney

treatment. He left the hospital on July 14, according to Le

Figaro.

煇煇During his stay, according to the newspaper, the local

representative of the CIA was seen going into bin Laden's room.

煇煇"A few days later, the CIA man boasted to a few friends that

he had paid a visit to the Saudi millionaire."

煇煇According to Le Figaro and RFI, who cite an "authorized

source," the CIA representative was recalled to Washington on

July 15.

煇煇Bin Laden has been sought by the United States for terrorism

since the attacks on the American embassies in Kenya and Tanzania

in 1998. But his ties with the CIA are older, and go back to the

time when bin Laden took part in the struggle in Afghanistan

against Soviet forces.

煇煇According to Le Figaro, bin Laden was accompanied by his

personal doctor and faithful lieutenant, who could be the

Egyptian Ayman al-Zawahiri, by a bodyguard, and by an Algerian

nurse.

煇煇He was admitted to the supervision of urologist Dr. Terry

Callaway, a specialist in kidneystones and male infertility. The

doctor was called several times on the telephone, but was not

willing to answer questions.

煇煇Many sources have already made mention of a serious kidney

infection of bin Laden, who is said to have had delivered to him

in his Afghan retreat in Kandahar a mobile dialysis unit,

according to "authorized sources" cited by the French newspaper

and RFI.

famous department of urology of Doctor Terry Callaway, specialist

reigning families which had recognized the mode of the talibans

often returned to Afghanistan. One of the princes of a reigning

family took part regularly in huntings on the grounds of Ben

Laden whom he knew and attended since many years." An air link

between Duba� and Quetta besides is daily ensured by the

companies Pakistan Airlines and Emirates. As for the private

aircrafts �miratis or saoudiens, they frequently serves Quetta

where they neither are recorded nor consigned most of the time in

the registers of the airport.

煇煇During its hospitalization, Oussama Ben Laden received the

visit of several members of its family, of personalities

saoudiennes and �miraties. During this same stay, the local

representative of the CIA, that many people know in Duba�, was

seen borrowing the principal elevator of the hospital to go in

the room of Oussama Ben Laden.

煇煇A few days later, the man of the CIA praises himself in

Authorized sources, the agent of the CIA was recalled by its

power station on July 15, the shortly after the departure of Ben

Laden for Quetta.

Algerian activists, without however being explained on the

general direction of their step. With the question " that fear

you in the days which come? ", the Americans oppose a not easily

comprehensible dumbness.

煇煇The contacts between the CIA and Ben Laden go back to 1979

when, representing family company in Istanbul, it began with

enr�ler volunteers of the world arabo-Moslem for Afghan

resistance against the Red Army. Inquiring into the attacks of

August 1998 against the American embassies of Nairobi (Kenya) and

Dares-Salaam (Tanzania), the investigators of the FBI discovered

that the traces left by the loads come from a military explosive

of the American army and that this explosive was delivered three

years before to Arab Afghans, the famous international brigades

of volunteers, engaged at the side of Oussama Ben Laden lasting

the war of Afghanistan against the Soviet army.

煇煇Continuing its investigations, the FBI discovers "

assemblies " that the CIA had developed with his/her " friends

islamists " since years. The meeting of Duba� would be thus only

the logical continuation of a " certain American policy ". The

mission of Beghal: to make jump the embassy of the United States,
